G.C. Solutions is one of the few providers that believe in the Semi-Dedicated option for providing webhosting services. Our concept has proven over and over that one does not need a VPS to operate an active website based on MYSQL/PHP.G.C. Solutions was started with the simple idea of starting a site and serving some videos that I had created on the internet. During the initial phase of Got Canyons, we were hosted on a shared platform such as Startlogic, Godaddy, ect. As the site grew and the amount of videos that I had created increased, it was apparent that such large hosts were not suitable for our site.

The question is why were they unsuitable? Quite simply, it was CPU/RAM usage and quality of data transfer. When your site is running on a server that includes 300-1800 other sites, your data transfer will suffer.

When this began to happen, G.C. Solutions went in search of an alternative to the shared platform hosting. What we discovered was VPS type server. During this second phase of Got Canyons, which began August, 2005, we had started to host other sites along with our own.

G.C. Solutions began its 3rd phase in February, 2006 which takes us away from the VPS type server to a dedicated server.

Going through all of these phases has been a great experience and we have learned a lot about hosting sites and running web servers. We at G.C. Solutions are excited that we can bring our experience to others who wish to place a presence on the internet.

Our goal is simple and will always stay with us. That goal is:
